From the Beginning

W. Mark Richardson, gallery owner and expert dealer, developed a lifelong eye for art at the age of two when he first became enthralled with the artistic genius of Dr. Seuss.

Decades later, he turned that childhood fascination into a professional milestone, successfully launching premier showings of Dr. Seuss’s private collections and drawing a diverse new demographic of collectors to the fine art space.

Prior to establishing the gallery on South Virginia Street, Mark operated as a passionate collector and dealer. Supported and encouraged by his wife, Maria, he built the gallery into a prominent regional hub. He constantly evaluates new talent and curates the inventory to ensure it is always filled with fresh, enchanting, and statement-making art.
